To post something in the forum, first select where you want your post to appear – Classifieds, News ~ Events ~ Chat, Technical Discussions, etc. Once there, add a topic title in the title box, and type your post in the posting box below the toolbar.

If you’re interested in fancy-ing up your post, you can use buttons on the toolbar. You can post plain links to YouTube or other websites of course, but here are a few features you can also use.

There are two ways to add a link to text.
Click on the “link” button that looks kind of like a chain, next to the YouTube button. Fill in the Link URL (website address), add the text you want to use as a link, or highlight the text if it’s already in the post and click Apply Link.
    The result:
    The MG Experience Forums
    * If you just use the “Apply Link” without highlighting the text, the link will be added to the bottom of your post.

The alternate way to embed a link into your post, is to copy the URL that you want to use.
Then, highlight the text that you want to change to a link.
Next, click on the “link” button. Paste the URL of the website into the pop up box, and hit Okay.

    The result is shown below.
    FCBCC on Facebook

You can also embed videos from YouTube using the same method. Copy the YouTube link you want, click the YouTube button on the toolbar, and paste the link into the box that appears. Click Apply Link, and the video will be inserted into your post, as shown below.

You can also use the toolbar to change your font to bold, italic, color, size, etc. Just highlight the text and click the appropriate button choice. Click on the smiley face to insert emoticons, aka smilies.
