We had great weather this year for the show. Mark brought his TR6 chassis down to the show and setup a FCBCC booth to talk to people about our club. It was a big hit with the crowds. We had a number of winners this year and I would like to thank everyone who participated and congratulate the winners.

We had a good showing for the meeting. Club business was discussed and Tim was re-elected as president for another term. There were 7 chilli entries for tasting and voting.
There was a tie for best chili. The winners: Jan Wittkopf and Valerie Stabenow. Congratulations!

Mark gave a wonderful presentation on three topics. One was about how to use UV dye to detect fluid leaks. It’s a great way to identify new vs. old leaks. Then we moved on to the MightyVac. A great device for removing fluids from your vehicle. Finally, we talked about engine compression and how to do a leak down test to see if you need to rebuild that engine. Last weekend we had our annual Winter Dinner. We missed last year because of COVID concerns but went ahead this year. It was a great evening of conversation and awards.

Thanks to everyone who came out and participated in the Tech Session. Everyone had a great time talking brake lines and there was a lot of good conversation on the topic. I think everyone learned something. Then we all had a chance to put our knowledge to the test with the real thing. Who knew making brake lines could be so easy.
