Welcome to Our Growing Family!
In the words of our club secretary, Bob Ablard, “not only are we a growing club, it feels like we are also growing up!” We are thrilled to announce that Foxbrits has welcomed 40 new members since our last annual meeting. This influx of enthusiasm has brought fresh energy and ideas to our discussions, making our club stronger than ever.
Key Decisions from Our Annual Meeting
During the recent annual meeting held on April 11th, our active members participated in meaningful conversations and voted on crucial amendments. We unanimously decided to amend our bylaws to mandate the purchase of liability insurance for the club and its officers. This step not only protects our club but also signifies our commitment to safety and accountability.
Exciting Plans for the Future
We also approved a budget that covers the cost of the newly required liability insurance and includes funds for a marketing sponsorship with the Automobile Gallery. Our collaboration with the gallery showcases our partnership with the iconic “Brits on the Bay” and the Ian Fleming Foundation bond exhibit. Plus, as we gear up for the 2026-2027 fiscal year, our annual dues will increase to $40 for renewals or new members starting May 1, 2026.
Lastly, we are proud to honor Mark Walker as our club president for another two-year term. A big thank you goes out to Rick Karle and O’Reilly Auto Parts for donating detailing supplies as door prizes, and to Valerie Stabenow, who successfully coordinated our door prize and chili contest activities!
